History of EGEHAYMER

Our center operates to provide researchers with the opportunity to work with experimental animals within the framework of international ethical rules, support scientific projects, and organize trainings in experimental animals. Since its establishment, it continues contributing to academic studies with its modern infrastructure, advanced laboratory facilities and expert staff.

EGEHAYMER serves both Ege University researchers and national and international scientists with its technical infrastructure and service range that has expanded over the years. With its various laboratory animals and advanced research facilities, it enables experiments to be carried out in accordance with ethical and scientific standards.

Since its establishment, in addition to supporting scientific studies in the field of experimental animals, it has contributed to the competence of researchers by organizing various national and international workshops and seminars as well as the Experimental Animal Use Certificate Course. Our center was entitled to receive TS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certificate in 2020 and carries out all its activities within the scope of this standard.

EGEHAYMER continues its activities based on quality, ethics and reliability in scientific research with laboratory animals and continues to contribute to the world of science.
