Our Mission and Vision

Mission

Our mission is to ensure the production of laboratory animals in Ege University in accordance with the national legislations at standardized technical and hygienical conditions and to improve the welfare and safety of animals during experiments by giving technical guidance to researchers if/when needed.

Vision

EGEHAYMER aims to be a national leader as “a production, education, research and application center for laboratory animals”. Main target of EGEHAYMER is to enrich institutional identity and culture by producing animals for pre-clinical and other research purposes and for educational facilities at international standards and by guiding researchers both inside and outside of Ege University to perform experiments according to universal principles of animal welfare and the scientific reproducibility.
